Whatever will do the job, the beauty of Volkdents conversion was the use of factory brakes, stub axles etc. Steve |
I've used a 930 box on my new chassis. There is no way to get it to clear the torsion housing unless you were to raise it 5-6 inches.
I've cut the torsion housing and re-enforced the entire area around it, coil over conversion that makes the back end more rigid. The 930 bell housing is in the same place as a vw one, but about 1.5 inches higher. I've posted my build up here.. http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/v...d=66140&page=5 Cheers, Ian |
