NO_H2O August 28th 2006 22:54

It is a flagship for sure. No doubt what Klasse it will be.

zen August 29th 2006 08:32

it's good to have friends in the c/f business, eh?

looking damn good!!! :agree:

chug_A_bug August 29th 2006 09:04

every nice keep the pics coming :D

Tedzbug August 29th 2006 21:48

the CF stuff is top notch looking........ Any idea how the beam pattern is on those headlights?

Any source for the CF anymore?

Massive Type IV August 30th 2006 07:32

getting the Carbon Fiber wasn't that bad- just time consuming!

The beam pattern on the headlights seems to be very wide from the little amount I have energized them just to test them

They are bright as hell!

massIVe 79 vert September 6th 2006 21:16

It's a private source that Jake has that doesn't want to be revealed because they do not want to advertise or sell publically.....sorry :(

Phat73VW September 7th 2006 12:38

ohh i see.

Massive Type IV September 7th 2006 13:58

If they ever do wish to go public we'll certainly be selling these babies!

zeroaxe September 7th 2006 14:31

I can appreciate that they want not to go public..., but with bumpers that looks that nice, surely they can sell them in loads. Or would you say that they have more interesting/profitable business elsewhere?

Those bumpers looks ace! :agree:

bow September 7th 2006 19:41

not black mail or anything but i believe i know the person that builds all of your c/f stuff but i respect the fact that they are not goin public

Phat73VW May 13th 2007 04:13

any new updates on this car or pics?

massIVe 79 vert May 13th 2007 11:50

Car hasn't been touched in months. Jake taped a show for speed channel a couple of weeks ago and he had to build a spyder replica from scratch in 3 weeks. So, all the attention of him and his employees got diverted there. Then there's the 914 SCCA race team Jake and Len Hoffman are starting up...so there goes more time diverted elsewhere. And then there's home improvement projects, repairs to our rental property, work....blah blah blah

We were just talking about the vert yesterday. I hope to get back on it and have it on the road by the end of the summer. We'll see though....

Thanks for asking, maybe it will prod Jake into putting the engine together. :agree:

Massive Type IV May 13th 2007 11:54

Yeah, I received a pretty good lashing yesterday and last night about Beth's car... Too many people reminded her at our open house that the car wasn't done yet....

gimme about 60 days.

zen May 14th 2007 14:15

you can send it on over to me. :D i finish, i keep...like i've even really finished mine.

get that bad boy/girl on the road!

james2 May 15th 2007 22:43

oasis May 17th 2007 09:17

Happy birthday, Beth. Just 56 more days ... ;)

Someone bought a new office and has been breaking someone else's back to get it ready for an open house this weekend.... You know, fun stuff like sheetrock, laying flooring, building cabinets and all those things that an engine builder LOVES to do!

So, there is no way I can meet the deadline- BUT it is HER fault!

I guess she liked your sheetrock work in the rental so much... She hired you again... ;)

Confucius says;

Keep peace in the home, get piece in the bedroom.;)

Massive Type IV June 4th 2007 21:53

LOL...

Yeah, I did the sheetrock work too damn good... Next thing you know I'll be building cabinets for the kitchen!

BUT unlike most women she works just as hard (or harder) on the projects than I do!

I used to hate woodwork, now after about 5K worth of tools it's not so bad any more and certainly better than paying someone to screw it up!
