Organizing the meetings
 

Alright boys. A couple items of conversation:

1) Can we move the meeting to somewhere in the middle of crowd. It was suggested in Northwest Mississauga. I'm open to switching locations monthly to keep it fair for everyone.

2) In an effort to organize the locations and times of the meetings, we can either:
a) get everyone to sign up to a yahoo group, whereas email notifications are sent out with the details:

b)organize everyone email addresses and just email the details personally.

Personally, I'm leaning towards option 2b. One less website to check on the daily surf. I'll volunteer to spread the word.

I don't see our group exploding with new membership anytime soon, so email will be fine.

I'd like to host a meeting at my place sometime in late March or early April 2010 .. as I'll need help to lower the body onto the pan so I can have the bug on the road for summer 2010 :D

Mississauga is definitely closer for me.

I've signed up on the Yahoo Group already. That was my suggestion to Lanner for keeping people up to date on events. It has worked well for me when I was president of the local chapter of the T-Bird Super Coupe Club. Any meets or shows that we want to attend as a group can be posted on the Group by the Group admin(s), and it will automatically send out an e-mail to all who have signed up, and use the option to receive individual e-mails.

Fast Ed and I are in the far north, your all willing to drive north for a meeting?

Couple months back we met at Mississauga Rd and the 401. In the pub north of the 401 within the plaza. Good spot. Possible new location?

For notification, you can subcribe to the local meeting thread, and you will get an email notification whenever a post is made.

Lanner, i think you have everyones email, right?
