ultimate killer
remmele hit's hard again.. :D  :agree:
enjoy this Pdf of 10.2MO http://www.remmele-motorsport.com/da..._sept05_HD.pdf |
 Speechless......
|
freakin' amazing!
|
That's one BAD Mama Jama.
Too bad I can't understand the article. |
Amazing .... and its not a Super ... it seems like he doesn't do alot of Supers ......
LOVE those wheels Sandeep |
I only wish it had less stickers and graphics on it, it kind of makes it look cheap, when I'm SURE it wasn't! Nice brakes and wheels.
Jason |
well just in the big lines..
1986 jubilee beetle, 3047cc type 4 injection (88x105mm) 268 hp, 3.0 RSR porsche gear box head with 42x52 valves with 16mm valve lift, rims in 8 and 10x18 inch and around 240k on top speed :D |
I've got 1 word to discribe the whole thing...DAMN.
|
Another couple words
I'm with Volkdent on this one. Decals and ''Sponsor'' stickers should be left for the posers, not a renowned company like remmele.
Also, this may stir up the behive and I realize we're not drag racing, but only 268 hp. Come on Remmele, I would like to see 350 hp and more. I had a ride in a 485 hp 1700 lbs manx in canada and it was nothing short of scaring the $#!^ out of me, but addicting. After that ride, I swore to have a bare minimum of 450 in the bug (I've gotta take advantage of the 6 pots). By all means, this car is absolutely amazing and it sets a higher standard for all of us to live up to and I think only a selected few will have a car of this caliber, speaking namely of volkdent(the awesome suspension man), Panelfantastic(the man who has the cajones to cut up an original panel and put a water cooled inline 4 in there and have it still look incredible), and Vajude(Wow is all I can say about this one, mid engined 8![I think thats his screen name?]). Doing things differant is where it's at. There are countless ''Cal-look" Dubs out there, Thats why GL style cars are so awesome! |
I agree with you "lazylongboarder", 268hp doesn't look much for a 3 litres, but dont forget its only a FLAT4 8valves engine, I think it's very correct, and dont forget it's an injection, no blower or turbo.. and this engine could be driven daily!!!
just to compair,(it's an example) it's 268 hp out of a Flat4 8valves engine and a old E36 3litres M3 give out 286hp of a 6 cylindres 32valves!!!! and that not very old technologie ( 1990 for M3 ), type 4 bloc are on the market since 1969!! by the way, the engine is already sold.... he is making an upgraded copy at the moment to replace it.. david |
it would be intressting to see a graph over the hp&torque!
|
I will ask eddy what were exactly the results of the engine will phone him this week..
david |
love to see a fly by clip. of that GL. Very nice elroocky tnx. for posting it. :)
|
Remmele's got some quality stuff, got cf running boards and front hood from them and it's top quality
|
How about information on why he uses Stds. vs Supers (1302 & 1303 Models)?
Also, an english translated version would be slicker than owl feces on a wet, moss-covered log! |
the english translation is nearly finish it should be online shortly the french version is still not done, I just had the new a few minutes ago
david |
If any of you can read German....please tell me the brand and size of the wheels. And where i can find some. Thats what I have been lookin for to put on my manx.
any help appreciated, mike |
the rims are antera rims, in 8x18 and 10x18 with ET56 and ET35 for offset.
some pics from it's first meetting http://www.german-spirit.com/forum/i...o/IMG_0080.jpg http://www.german-spirit.com/forum/i...o/IMG_0081.jpg enjoy... :D |

Thanks for the pictures elroocky :agree:
That is one sweet car ! Got any more pictures ? :D Sandeep |
Thanks David, very cool pics!
Was this at Spa-francorchamp? Nobody I know saw the car there... I am very, very curieus what such an ultimate street car would run in the 1/4 mile... Recently got my alu, longer than stock, type 4 pushrod tubes from him :D Very nice! I am glad he is back in business and that delivery goes smooth these days ;) Walter |
Man I just wet my pants..
Only if money was not an option.. Need to leave work to change ;) Alex :) |
Who owns the car Remmel or an individual?
mike |
Very sharp car. I would like to see them do a 1303.

Actually, that 03 was the inspiration for the mods on my own 03 ;) Greetings, Walter |
I just keep (slurp, slurp) drooling over those wheels. That is the perfect "stance" as Foose would say.
Does he sell that brake kit, and if yes, how much is it? Jason |
yes he does..... get seated....
full brake kit "stage 4" :€ 4.980,00 ( around 6000 US $ ) :D front and rear fully ready for "plugg and paly" 343mm x 32mm front 330x28 rear, 6pistons calipers front and 4 at rear rims requested is minimum 18" or 17 for some BBS design... |
What about just front cost? I have a different setup for the rear. Porsche Cup IIs are too small up front? Does he have a less extreme AP setup?
I'm going to have to contact them directly to get this all worked out. Jason |
I dont know, price given is as a full package....

that's a lot of money but sure are some very nice looking brakes :)
how about using 6 pod taarox calipers up front like I did (stop very well), plan on using them on carrera discs and carrera calipers+discs in the rear. |
Well, Taarox sounds fine, but why not just go with matching Wilwood stuff then? Wilwood's widely available here, and I've already got Wilwood on the back. I'm just not sure about the adapters.

Its the customers that don't know what they want.. :) |
this car is eddy's car, not a customer car... and not for sale, for the moment....
david |

I thought the article mentioned or suggested it was a customer car? Kurt Thim or s/th? But if you say so, I believe you  Regards, Walter |
well could be since, but I assure you that this Jubi was eddy car for the last 3 years..(and I've worked on that car back in 2003/04) . the car arrived at remmele with a engine fire compartiement around 2002.
I've meet Kurt Thim, he is a pilote driver in the super V8 german challenge ( or was). I could have bougth the car since, but strange thing, wy would eddy sell the engine between when the car is finished..? the car is back at remmele shop and waiting for a new 3 litres T IV.. I will ask when I get in touch with eddy in phone. david |
Why didn't he start with a Civic, if that's what he wanted?
Just pulling your leg David  |
hello hello,
I was at remmele this week, and I've tryed it for you... http://img374.imageshack.us/img374/6765/imgp05419bb.jpg this engine is a new engine, with higher compression than the previous one ( around 13.0:1) it has been passed on engine power roller, and documents show's 280hp!!!! ( I've seen the documents and paper work ) the previous engine of 268hp is sitting now in a 356 B fully equiped with 915 gear box, porsche 944 brakes with AP calipers, special shorks and torsion bars!!! ( pics will follow soon ) it's just crazy, nothing else to say.... so I took order of a 2366 cc fully equiped with new remmele cylinder heads with option 51.5 IDA on top... with all the stuff going with it... expected power around 220ps for the remmele site, the english version is finished and should be online before the end of the month. the french translation will just follow.. I made around 100 pics from remmele shop, will send them to webmaster to have them online and see some new goodies :D |
|
Thanks for the info.
And I'm looking forward to the fotos!! Wiebrand :D |
