Steering Wheel -- Flat or Dished?

I'm looking at aftermarket steering wheels (Momo/Sparco/OMP) for my Beetle and was wondering what you guys are running -- flat or dished.

I think that the style of the beetle turn signal switch determines that you need a dished wheel, or a tall spacer with a flat wheel. Other than that, it really comes down to personal preference, Do what YOU like.

I run a Momo Prototipo wheel and I love it! it's flat. I would not go for a dished, or tulip, because of the driving position. Unless you have very short arms and long legs, or your are driving verrry laid!;) The pedals are far, the shifter is almost out of reach the the stearing is already close.

The Momo adapter appears to space the wheel out a good deal. That's why I was concerned about adding a dished wheel...

I have a flat wheel on a short grant adapter on my 72 super and I hate it! My knuckles hit the wiper lever sometimes. It's what I had at the time I built the car but will be changed soon. If i stay with the same adapter I will use a dished wheel or I'll get a longer adapter.
