How unsafe is it?
On the frontend I read on another forum about pulling the torsion bars to lower it.My cars frontend is balljoint and it said this is for the people on a budget.Whats so unsafe about it if I remove 2 of the small ones or however many it takes to drop it and inch but 3" counting the drop spindles unless you can do it lower?

If you have dropped spindles and pull a couple of torsion plates it's probably going to get you where you need it height-wise and not be necessarily dangerous given the balljoints should still work in the safe range, but it changes the spring rate and overall it's not recomended because it's just half-a$$.

yeah but whats it do to make it so dangerous?I asked about it in thesamba but they basically said the same thing Ive read on hoodride which is where I found this idea at anyway. And no my cars not a hoodride

my understanding is that it will cause more stress upon the rest of the front suspension and cause it to fail quicker.

You will end up with broken leaves .trust me .i have done it.
