1972 Beetle porsche 5spd IRS
 

For sale my 1972 Tax exempt Beetle
It Has had a body off resto with no expense spared

Floorpan is IRS rear with ball joint front beam which is new and uprated anti roll bar it has Porsche 944 Brakes front and rear also with 944 M/C all brake lines are stainless as well as the flexibles ,also all fuel lines are stainless
the floorpan has been blasted and painted and sealed all new bushes and seals, all bolts are in stainless.
It has a Porsche 901 5spd gearbox along with correct drive shafts

It is running on Porsche Boxster alloys + spare with near new Michelin pilots

The body has had new heater channels and rear cross members also new wings and bumpers ,
all bright work has ben powder coated satin black the bumpers have been colour coded with rubber strips and fronts have LED indicators whilst the rear have smoked lenses

The engine is a 1679cc twin port with twin 40 kadron carbs
It has been reconditioned with new bearings seals etc
it has a German 009 distributor and modified exhaust
Also the body is fitted with Hooky's access panels to make tuning and plug changes easier

The Interior has Porsche 914 gauges and a special Porsche style dash also with VDO temp and pressure gauges ,it has a JVC remote radio CD player
The seats and panels are Scat pro car finished in a grey velour type material ( there are a couple of small nicks in the fabric
the carpets are also new ,The steering wheel is a MOMO 3 spoke detachable.

the motor has only been bench run and done about 50 miles then I put the other one in for the winter !!!
