Your callipers look 928GTS / M030 951 rear-callipers in my eyes.....

You can use any Porsche rear disk below 300-305mm and 24mm thick with them....I think..

But I´m not sure which is best choice to get handbrakes work right. I´ve been searching information if I can use 951 rear disk (951.352.041.01) with n/a handbrake stuff and n/a control arms etc...?? And I think it would be possible?!?

You cannot use any front disks because they don´t have drum area to handbrake. You will need 180mm diameter inside the disk hub to get handbrake assembly fitted in.

993 352 041 02 Disks will be fine too, I think.

I tested my callipers (928 GTS) with n/a a-series 944 original rear calliper carrier, steel arm and n/a 20.5mm disk and everything seem to be ookay. Maybe it is good to use 1.5mm spacers between the brake pad and pistons though.

I don't know about rear disks, as I will be using this setup as front disks. For the rear of my bug I am using a kit which uses 914 discs and MK4 Golf rear calipers..

Front you can use that 993 disk fine I think.

And those 928/951 rear callipers should be fine with G4 rear callipers...

What's the differance, if any, from the 993 rear calipers to the 951/928's???

Well I now have the 993 rear discs, and they look perfect. They even come crossdrilled.. :)

I'm a little late in this conversation, but...

All 944T rear calipers are the same. The 993 rears are alittle prettier (smooth font), but they are the same as far as piston sizes and mounting ears etc..

Chris, try getting your hands on a boxster frontrotor, and then use that caliper you have in the front. I was mocking up up a similar setup, and I think it would work very well. On paper, it's about 12% more brake torque that a karmann ghia setup, with only 5% or so more fluid requirement. So it would work well with the stock master cylinder. Since the P-car caliper is stiffer than vw parts, the increase in brake performance will probably be more than what the numers show (ie 12%). And ofcourse you have a vented rotor with greater heat capacity and dissapation. Also, since it's a 24mm rotor, you save alot of weigh when compared to a 28mm setup...personally I think most that for most guys, the big-brake setups with 28mm and thicker rotors on a bug are a waste...they weigh a ton. (opps..there goes my business out the door......)

Thats exactly what I am doing, these calipers and disks will be for the front. I have a kit for the rear utilising Mk4 Golf rear calipers, and 914 disks. Your right about the weight saving, its all working out pretty good. :)

The 94 inside the calipers is the production year. :) ;)
Easy way to tell if they are front or rear :
Look the pistons 4 same diameter pistons = rear :mad:
2 pair of pistons (1 pair per side) = front :D
Also if I see correctly the script "Porsche" is decal applied not cast of the caliper correct ? These is much more 944S2/968 rear calipers.

FYI : Marco with TBO WBX bug has used 4 rear 996 calipers all around with success.
