Suspension settings

Hi All, long time no visit. Life has been busy!

My dads 1303LS cab is finally MOT'd and waiting for it's new registration.

While this is happening, I will be carrying out wheel alignment inc corner weights.

The suspension spec is

944 rear arms, torsion bars and anti-roll bar (with adjustable spring plates)

944 early front spindles and brakes, stock anti-roll bar and lower arms with CSP balljoints, late 1303 rack'n'pinion, in-house coil overs with 80lb springs, MK2 golf Spax inserts.

Porsche design 90 6s and 7s with 205/55/16s and 225/50/16s.

Any ideas as to camber and tracking for this kind of setup?

I'm tempted to use 944 spec for the rear and stock late 1303 spec but would appreciate info from you guys.

Regards

MG

Set a few for street use and allways start at stock bug settings, then work from there. it depends on driver style but my experience tells me most drivers cant tell the difference between a so so setting and a good one. stock works well and i have even used stock settings on my race car with good results.

If you are not racing or tracking it go with a light setup. This should give you lighter steering and less tire wear, but still be fun in the twisties.

Front:
camber -0.5
castor as much as possible
toe 0

Rear:
camber 0 to -0.5
castor as much as possible without altering other settings
toe 0
