I've done several buildup things, last month!
People do like pictures, so here we go::D http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/56665.jpg The little sidepanels and backpanel are removable: http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/56668.jpg The body back on the chassis: http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/56671.jpg Bottom-view: http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/58042.jpg Replaced the standard camberadjusters with some larger ones: http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/58043.jpg New rear-tires and cupstrebe installed: http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/58045.jpg Wiring: http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/58050.jpg http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/58052.jpg Current result: http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/58053.jpg |
I placed some 10mm spacers at the front, in order to achieve factory scub-radius again. Scrub-radius also named kingpin-offset is responsible for the self-aligning of the steeringwheel and the feeling (of loosing traction) in your steeringwheel. Without the spacers the scrub-radius would be near zero/neutral, something you don't want with a Germanstyle car!
Some explaination: scrub-radius is 'A': http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/58319.jpg http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/58318.jpg |
ride height
how much have you lowered the ride height.
cars is beutifull great work:) |
Thanks! But I really don't know how much the car is lowered, because it's build with parts from several cars. So I haven't got a reference.
However, I noted that this thread isn't updated anymore, so here are some new pictures from (more than) a month ago. LED turnsignals, behind the horngrills and 911 lenses: http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/61691.jpg http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/61694.jpg 914 gauges, painted and chromed (steeringwheel is temporary): http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/61693.jpg http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/61695.jpg Ahnendorp Road Racing exhaust (little bit too large for the current 1600, but suitable for future plans): http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/61697.jpg http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fo...umbs/61698.jpg Current result: http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/62503.jpg http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/62504.jpg |
