The left is ready, time to start on the right side.
First clean the shop then turn the car and level it. I was very glad I was ready on the left, and now I can start all over again. DAMN this is a lot of work :-\

Good to hear that it works. Nice build.

First I tried to fit the door. As expected that didn't fit, not in a milion years.

After a lot of thinking, pushing and stretching, it was time to use my hydraulic friend. Finally it fits like a glove.

Really impressed with the level of effort and quality of work there Paul. Where in the Netherlands are you located?

Thanks Mike, the car is in Tilburg.

That lower section of the (missing) rear rocker panel was part of the problem. That helps set the door gap since it connects the "B pillar" to the heater channel.

I was just over in Eindhoven for work the middle of last month. It was my 1st time over there and I didn't get a chance to visit any shops (I was hoping to make it to VW Classics). I did get to catch the Holland-Germany Euro 2012 match and sample some Dutch beer and frits in the market. Hup!

The lower section was during the first door fit already gone, so that was not the problem. The front incl. the doorpillars are replaced, the right doorpillar was not 100% vertical.

As much metal that has been cut, problems with fitting are normal.
