Hi
Your doing excellent work, I'm taking the body off a 1303 soon so it can be painted, I'm glad that we don't have the same problems down here as you do there. I might be seeing things but in the photo http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/99903.jpg it looks like there is some sort bulge on the chassis floor at the rear end behind the seat rails, is this for something special or is it a piece of your bug puzzle waiting to be fitted? The bulge is made to fit the oilcooler, I think this will have plenty of airflow. Good luck with your car. http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/88898.jpg Paul. |
Nice work Paul! I donīt think I have ever seen anyone make such a big modification for an oil cooler! I like it!

This looks nice. No rear legroom, but who care! :D

Found some time to work on the car again 8)
The underside of the left doorpillar was bad, of course >:( time for a Hoekie of Hooky :) http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101713.jpg http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101714.jpg First I had to shorten it, this way the bracing could stay in it's place. http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101715.jpg fitting http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101716.jpg It only needs some welding. 8) http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101719.jpg Paul. |
This morning it was time to finish the doorpillar.
Welded the hooky piece. http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101822.jpg Normally you can not reach the inside, mine is still open and it is double sheetmetal so I also welded the inside. http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101823.jpg Then I dismantled the door (this is very heavy with all the parts and glass in it) and checked the gap, I must say ; I am very pleased with it. http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101824.jpg Paul. |
Awesome work Paul! keep update!! :)

Not much time lately, but still a Little progress.
This piece of the trunk was a little thin, also the holes didn't mach the new kick panel. so I replaced the top of the kick panel by a wider piece, this way I can close (weld) all the holes. http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/102726.jpg http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/102727.jpg And all the holes are closed again. before paint I will put some lead filler on it and it will be as new again, offcourse I will do the corners first. http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/102880.jpg Paul. |
Paul where did you get the lower door post panel to buy.
