Hi

Your doing excellent work, I'm taking the body off a 1303 soon so it can be painted, I'm glad that we don't have the same problems down here as you do there.

I might be seeing things but in the photo http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/99903.jpg it looks like there is some sort bulge on the chassis floor at the rear end behind the seat rails, is this for something special or is it a piece of your bug puzzle waiting to be fitted?

Thanks Steve,

The bulge is made to fit the oilcooler, I think this will have plenty of airflow. Good luck with your car.

Found some time to work on the car again 8)

The underside of the left doorpillar was bad, of course >:(

First I had to shorten it, this way the bracing could stay in it's place.

fitting
http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101716.jpg

It only needs some welding. 8)

This morning it was time to finish the doorpillar.

Welded the hooky piece.
http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101822.jpg

Normally you can not reach the inside, mine is still open and it is double sheetmetal so I also welded the inside.
http://www.keversite.nl/fotoalbum/fotos/101823.jpg

Then I dismantled the door (this is very heavy with all the parts and glass in it) and checked the gap, I must say ; I am very pleased with it.

Not much time lately, but still a Little progress.
This piece of the trunk was a little thin, also the holes didn't mach the new kick panel. so I replaced the top of the kick panel by a wider piece, this way I can close (weld) all the holes.

And all the holes are closed again. before paint I will put some lead filler on it and it will be as new again, offcourse I will do the corners first.

Do you mean that green piece? It's a hooky piece, perfect fit.
