hey nope my wheels are 4X130 and I looked at the rotor thickness it's
14mm = 0.551"

and the willwood is good for 0.8"

what do you think??

thanks Chris.

I would not use most willwoods calipers in a street driven application.. why? becuase all the ones i have seen and rebuilt do not have dust seals incorperated into there design. without dust seals you get more wear on the piston and bore, and rebuilds would be more frequent. good stuff, but i would want dust seals if i was going through the trouble of upgrading my brakes.

There great for a car that would get rebuilt offten... like a race car.
Thats whats cool about all the porsche stuff, you get great quality brakes with all the correct enginering for street and track use.

Off the top of my head the wilwood midilite calipers have dust seals. You have to weigh up how much you use the car then decide whether you need the seals. As for porsche v. wilwood to my mind there's something very comforting about a brand new caliper. I'm looking at this conversion myself but am stumbling over the advantages of vented discs and how to do it well.
Also I believe standard beetle disks, which the disks you suggest look as if they're designed to replace, are 9 or 10mm.

people saying that wilwoods don't have dust seals is the most common complaint about those calipers. go to willwods site and call their tech line they are more than willing to help with custom brake questions.......but have all your ducks in row they don't want to build your sytem they just give good advice.
