Longer Cylinder Barrels

Hello:

I'm building a long rod stroker.

2110 T1 = 82crank +90.5pistons+ 5.6 rods

Who makes longer barrels? How much do they go for$$??

i made a 1/2inch spacer out of T6 aluminum, and put them between the barrel and case. i believe you could buy longer cylinders and machine them down. i think they are called "century cylinders". try:Kevin Shull

i'm running a 84 crank with 5.7 rods.

I guess Autocraft make extra long barrels. VW Speed Shop in UK market both Autocraft and Century barrels.

First off, extra long Type 1 cylinders are only made in 94mm bore. Nothing is made for 90.5mm.
Secondly, you don't need longer cylinders when your stroke is only 82mm. The standard CIMA cylinders are plenty long enough. The length of the connecting rod has nothing to do with the required cylinder length. All you need is a thick spacer under the cylinder. Or better yet, shorter rods.
