Body dimensions
The diagram of the basic beetle dimensions on this page (labelled: "Pictures all 007") has an incorrect link. Does anyone have the full size version of this diagram? I'd like to find the one for both Supers and Standards.
BTW this is the first new message of the paint/body forum.... :D |

go to Superbeetlesonly.com, flick to tech articles, there's a link there for chassis dimensions for superbeetles... |
Im chasing the dimensions of the superbeetle body now also...
|
That dimension sheet is from the Bentley workshop manual
1200 1961-65' page A28 |
Does the Bently manual for newer models also include body specs?
If no, could anyone mail me a digital version? Would hate to but antoher book just to get those few pages... |
I too need a pan drawing for a standard Beetle.
Goal is to modify a Rorty design chassis for a Speedster, using the front 1/2 from Rorty and grafting on the Beetle rchassis c/w VIN from the torsion tube back. I would go full on rorty but need to keep the VIN for registration. |
i have these of a standard beetle that were saved on my computer hope this helps

Anyone got this information? |
I don't see body dimensions in my Bentley manual :( just wheel base (2400mm), and wheel alignment specs.
