early style cf headlamp rings anyone?
 
contacted L.A. Performance but they only have the upright model, does anyone sell early style ones?

I made the mold for them awhile back but after making them I had a hard time making the inside lip that holds the lamp. Any ides??

Maybe a combination of the factory ring ? Or possibly just the lip part that is giving you trouble bonded to the fibre part?

they look great, how much for those? I'd even take them if they were to glue on the original headlamp rings.

Toms right, maybe carbon overlays are the way to go. Wern't gonna shave that much weight anyway, more of a matching piece for other carbon bits.

I like this idea, I've got a few rings to play with but I need the hole assembly, I'll see what I can do.

Keep us posted Joe. I've got a couple of the assemblies laying around but I'm not sure if they are OGs or cheap imports, I'd have to look, either way I'll be glad to send one if you need it.
