9J Porsche Alloys on Type 2 Camper?

I need help/advice in trying to fit a set of 17" cup 3 alloys on my lowered 1973 bay window camper.

Rears are ET47 9J/17/h2
Front ET52 7.5J/17/h2

I have got 20mm adaptor for the front which I hope will be ok, but it is the rears will be the biggest problem so any ideas would be welcome.

I thought that getting the hubs machined to 130 pcd and fitting a 225/45 tyres would save some width! She is lowered by 1 spline, so

1 What size of spacer will I need to clear the spring plate
2 how do you flare the rear arches if necessary?
3 What length of studs will I need.

Any advice or links would be very welcome.

Thanks

David

Its notoriously difficult to give you any advice like this. Your best bet is just to offer them up and see how they fit (or not)..

Not sure about the bay windows, but I've got 17x9et55's with rear 944 trailing arms under my 65 panel. Very tight, kinda rubs on corners and is super cambered out for tire clearance. But she rolls.....

Word on Swedish forums are 17mm adapters/spacers for optimum offset. But the ET on the rims you have will determine this.

H&R sells 15mm 112 to 130 adapters, But require some machining to clear the bore. This is the route I am going, but they have been back ordered, I should be receiving them next week. Ill post with pictures once there mounted. From the looks of it and my measurements Ill have 1cm clearance to the inner wheel well. The Rim will fit, the tire size is really how much you want to sacrifice for handling.
