KG with 17's?
 

Hi,

So I'm finally getting to the point to where I really need to decide on wheels for my ghia. I've been reading around this forum and just wanted to make sure that I can fit 17x7 wheels under the stock fenders so long as the offset is like +52 or more, right? The front will have a 2" narrowed/adjustable beam with dropped spindles. Is this possible without any other modifications? Or should I just get 15" or 16" wheels? Thanks.

i had 17 x 7.5 on my 74 ghia don't remeber the offset , with out a narrowed beam with 205/ 40's front and rear i just could not let the beam all the way down or it whould rub the fender lip when i turned http://images.thesamba.com/vw/gallery/pix/71706.jpg
