rear brace threaded aluminum ends

Does anyone know what the threaded ends on the kafer cup brace are called? I have been researching and found no information, the closest thing I could find was the heim joint but that is not what I want to use. If I can find these ends I will complete my front strut brace and start building a rear brace.
Are these ends custom machined or are they avaliable from a source? I don't want to spend $600 CDN dollars on a rear brace when I can make one for alot less than than.(depending on how much the threaded ends are)

Thank You

Dont spend your money on something that you can make yourself or have made by friends etc.
I`m going to use connecting ends of pneumatic cylinders. They are cheap, look OK and I think they are strong enough for the job.

The part is called fork end. The picture on the homepage, mentioned in the last thread looks pretty good. The main differences are, that the side to the brace is threaded (outside) and the fork ends have left- and rightthreads to get them adjusted while build in. We have them in aluminum only and they are common for building ends in 6-point bracings for cars!

I saw that last pic on ebay awhile ago and I saved it for reference to make my own.

I'm yet to find a manufacturer of L and R hand threaded fork ends in the UK. There's a few places selling them but no bargains to report.

I am sure i have seen them advertised in the Demon Tweeks catalogue here in the UK, they also sell some nifty dust seals as well. Worth a try!

I like to shop at the same places as Tweekies, much cheaper.
