dynoed the 2.1
after te mess that happerend last year with the dta ecu and water getting in the engine and cuaseing a rebild.
spent monday at RACESHACK getting the new omex 600 mapped. 134bhp@ rear wheels, and on a new bottom end and rings. 71x96 engine with h-beam rods and eurorace heads fed by 48mm bodies and a web86c cam. lost a bit due to big slicks, bad rear end geometry and a new bottom end so it should be pretty close to the 145bhp we got last year just before the oil pump broke and killed it. with the new lighter rods in it revs so fast :D sounds even more like a bike. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2012/...a343f1c5be.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2144/...98f4dc481b.jpg cheers rob |
Sweetness!!! Do you know what you got for torque? That thing ought to keep you happy for this season at least?
Mines going in on the 17th, so fingers crossed on what it will produce... Jason |

Wow, talk about an even torque curve!!! And 6800, that thing can rev! Nice job, keep us posted on how she performs.

right went back to race shack for remap, wow what a differance.
how does 148bhp and 151ftlb torque sound? the torque improvment was down to some 130mm intake trumpets but the rest was down to some very clever mapping from the guys at raceshack. to say i'm impressed with the results is a understatement. think i can say that 100bhp per liter is possable as i have done it :) 148bhp @ the wheels is as near to 200bhp flywheel as you are going to get. cant wait to get out and race it agian :D |
Sweet, shoot some YouTube for us!
