Side NACA scoop (keeping rear seat)

Hi all,
here is my small contribution...
I was reading for quite a while here and there without satisfactory option as of how to install a fresh air scoop without sacrificing the look, the rear seat or the rear side windows. No choice, I had to try something by my own. Here it is, as i ended up doing it:

Connexions with 3" abs piping you'll find at your Home Depot (with at least one rubber interface):

Mods done to seat: (Notice the new rib, and the inverted attachment points)

Beware: this is not fun to bolt back in place. When you'll be trying that at home, remember, i am your friend... ;)

Next time I'll show you how I did my removable apron including access gates to carb adjustment.

Bye for now.

Thats a good way to route some more air, and still have a back seat. Great fab work. :agree:

Nice Way of doing it, any concerns about restricted flow because the bends straight after the inlet? with the black bit on your car it will hardly be noticed aswell, good work.

Thank you for good comments guys. There is mot probably restriction, but I believe not as bad as if mounted with a flexible hose like typical in racing application.
