sound wrap/sound deadening

Hi everyone, question does anyone know of a company in England, that makes and sells exhaust temperature insulation material. I once got lucky through searching the net. The company was in England, they sold heat reflecting material. Styrofoam like beads that once contained in between two part. The foam would swell and sound absord and heat deflect.

Hi, thanks but they only offer the typical. About 8 years ago I did a search and got a hit from a vendor. This vendor was very different, they offered wraps, sewing threads, heat forming pellets. At the time I thought I had all the time in the world, plus I had their link.

I wanted to make a dual wall exhaust system. It was supposed to be like using a 1-5/8" header pipe and a 2" pipe also. The 2" pipe was to mirror the 1-5/8" header pipe, that only a muffler shop could duplicate.

The space between the pipes, I would added the sound absorbing pellets. The pellets once introduced to heat, would swell, taking up the air gap in the header pipe. This vender did offer the right material, their site was extensive on exhaust/temperature materials.

I just hate exhaust noise, I envy the none header sounds of motor cars, but having high horsepower.

thanks anyhow.
