Stripping/Painting 944 Turbo Calipers

Hi,

I have a set of 944T Brembo twin spots with good seals. Whats the best way to remove the black paint to repaint them? Should I blast them with garnet, or something similar, paint strip them, etc etc.

Is there any special type of caliper paint I should use as well?

Thanks

Steve

Matara,

The calipers are hard anodized and then clear coated. The clear coat comes off easy with chemical stripper. The anodizing accepts paint or powder coat easily. Use one of the "two part" caliper paint kits.
