17 x 7.5 Porsche Twist Wheel fitment Question!

I came across a guy today who told me he had set of Porsche Turbo Twist he would like to sell and asked if I knew anyone who was interested. Ironically I have been looking for a set so I went to check them out. He happened to have a shop not far from where we had met so a short drive later I saw these.

All four wheels are 17" x 7.5" and I am just itching to buy them but I have a few questions first.

I know that 17x7 fit up front pretty easily but with 7.5 will I need to run a decent size spacer for the front and rear? If so what size would you reccommend?

Let me break down my current suspension setup:

Stock fenders all around
Maxx Struts *Set at highest setting*
Topline disc brake kit
Stock drum rear brakes
Rear end at stock height

Also is there any gain or loss in track width if I decide to do a 944 brake setup all around? Because I was just going to have my current rotors and drums drilled for the 5x130 bolt pattern.

Also for the price he is asking I can not pass these up!
Thanks in advance!

Hi

What ET are they. I have a set of similar wheels and they are 17.5 as well with a 23 ET.

I'll have to check the offset on them today after work.

It all depends on the offset.

My rears are et 49 so I run a 15mm spacer. My wheels are also 8in wide so you have a little more room to work.

they are ET 23.... will they fit?

Hi

I have 17x7 with a 55et on my daily 1303 with 2 bolt struts and they fit fine on the front, on the rear I have 944 brakes with steel arms, these give about 25 mm wider track on th rear.

I know that 7 inch wheels with a 23 ET work fine on the rear with no spacers etc.

So using what I know fits, I plugged this data into a wheel offset calculator and got these results.

They are going to stick out in the front with that low of an et. They would fit well in the back.
