Is this German Look Material? (custom fenders)

Well I am buyin this for $800 and am thinking that it will look amazing once I get it lowered and painted! I am thinking I can pull the GL...What does everyone think?

The fenders are steel, custom widened 2 inches all around. All the lines are good and the car is very solid!
That being said....

The only dislikes I have is the JC Whitney sunroof, and the lack of holes for fenders...

The fender hole prob I can fix!

No someone but the hole... what are the dimensions of the real deal? PM me with what you are looking to get from it!

Front panel is not original.. it looks like flat, not bounded.

That sunroof is straight and not bounded.

Looks like an $hitty but maybe hard project.

gsusmaniac,

I agree with Racelook, that front apron is definitely not original or right.

That sunroof $ucks pretty bad. I sometimes shake my head and wonder why… Personally, I would look for another roof and fill the hole, as welding in a patch would most likely cause a lot of heat warp to the roof. Alternatively, if you want the factory sunroof, you cannot just get the mechanism, you need the whole roof section as well, as there are tracks, etc… that need to be put in.

Seeing that I would replace the roof to fix the hole, finding a sunroof roof section may be an alternative, although not a particularly cheep one to do unless you have the skills to do the work yourself.

(Just my opinion, but I could be wrong):)

Cheers,

Doug
