1971-1976 beetle weight

does anyone know the orignal weight of a beetle from the factory.I have a book about vdubs but it list 3 different weights from 820-862kgs.

Not sure if you had found it yet but the weight I have for a stock 72' super is 1918lbs. or 870kg. I'm not sure if that is a wet or dry weight but I'd guess wet weight because it seems heavy for a beetle.
