Cheap 4 piston caliper alternative
 

Just swapped the wheels on an 89 Toyota Hilux (4 runner in the US) which I`m wrecking and thought I share this with you.
O.k. its not for the guys wanting to save weight cause its cast iron but the old 944 had cast iron ones too.
The caliper is 230 mm long, 135 mm wide and the disc is 20 mm thick and has a 280 mm diameter. These things run 15 inch wheels.
Wouldn`t be too difficult to fit.

The calipers combined with some 944 discs I mean.

I did a setup with those calipers on some guys' Datsun 510...they're pretty cool and easily available (ie, cheap).

But man, talk about boat anchors...
