Summit Racing Grand Opening Cruise
 

Summit Racing's McDonough Center will have their Grand Opening on March 10th (day before dyno day). If you havn't seen this place, it is huge. All the Southside VW folks along with Chico (CPR racing) and Kromeboy (KY fella) will be doing a cruise to give the event some Aircooled style. I plan to take my car down with them so folks don't think that all performance VW's are pidgon toed farmalls. Anyone else up for it. :agree:

Sounds fun. Too bad I can't make it in my Ghia. I've bought a bunch of stuff from them for my Ghia. I have an order on it's way right now. :laugh:

I'm guessing afternoon/evening for the cruise. They will be open at 8 or 9 am.

We are thinking 4:00 or 5:00 pm to cruise to Summit from McDonough. Who is up for it. Get you @$$ out of work early Fri. the 10th and cruise wiff us. :agree:

The Summit Racing Equipment Grand Opening Celebration takes place March 10-19, from 9 am to 9 pm. The Summit Racing Equipment Retail Super Store is located at 20 King Mill Road in McDonough. Take I-75 to Highway 155 (exit 216).>

5 of us Southsiders cruised to Summit and were asked to park as a group, nicely line up and spaced out (Much larger area then Bug Jam) on the outer edge of the Parking lot so folks could see our cars from the hwy., along with the 2 ea. Summit Pro Stock NHRA cars, 1 ea Summit/UPS Dragster and Summit monster truck. They had drivers and crews of the cars signing autograph at their cars/transports and we still had more people around our cars than the big time race cars. It is a very cool showroom/distribution center and they have everything. I got a nice alluminum "racing" jack to keep in Joel's bus.
