Inspiration for GL

Some of you might keep up to date with this stuff but for those who don't....

Some crazy modified 911s are built by hand with a unique style in Japan by Rauh Welt (German for Rough World). Plenty of stuff on utube & google. They go for very wide bodywork and heavy offset wheels. Often there is a ghetto look finish (matt paint, decals, riveted on rubber spoiler lip) but underneath this rough finish, there is a lot of detailed bodywork modifications to integrate the look.

Might give you some ideas....

They are both pretty cool.

If I were to do another GL project, I would do it in the "Singer" style, classic beetle with all the chrome, 16" Fuchs, but teched to the max.

The Singer site has come pretty detailed information on what they do to get to the final product. Its only money, right ?

Ahhh! Rauh Welt!!! I had been following his work for some time. I really like what he does. I read at Performance magazine that he sleep at the garage and if at night an idea struck him, he goes directly to work it on the car no matter what hour is it! Talk about passion!!!:notworthy:
