Bleeding 4-pot Bremo's
 

Installed last week on all 4 corners the 4-pot bremo's to my "vert". The pedal feels spongy probably because there is air in the system. How do I bleed the 4-pot brakes. Do I bleed both nipples at the same caliper at the same time or on by on. Help welcome.

I made a post about this that has a quote from a experienced Brembo tech, do a search I can't remember the subject.

One of the things that people do wrong when installing big Brembos is installing them with the bleed screws on the bottom of the caliper. If your install has the cross over tube at the top and the bleeders at the bottom, you must unscrew the tube/bleeders and reverse them. At that point the air can bleed out of the caliper. It might be the spongy brake cause...

Maybe I was not clear enough with stating my question. The problem is not that I don't know the problem with the spongy brakes but that I don't know the correct way to bleed the 4-pot brembo's because they have 2 bleed nipples one the same caliper. I presume that I start with the caliper that is the farrest away from the master as in the normal brake setup. But do I have to open both the nipples at the same time or one at another...........and so on???????

Maybe this is your answer..
Start with the caliper which is farthest away from your m/c and first start with the outside bleedernipple until all the air is out of your system, after that, try the inside nipple. There will be some air under the inside nipple if your calipers are new or unused for a long time.
