Brake wear indication
 

Anyone using a setup which can tell the wear on the brake pads? Er.. something like those used on the Porsche pads?(ie, a led lite to warn you that your pads are to be replaced):confused:

It shouldn't be hard to make something, the pads have wires imbeded into them, when they wear enough they ground out and light an indicator on the dash. I have owned BMWs with that set up, I have never felt a need for an indicator because I get under my cars fairly often.
