No, this is not a porno topic or anything. . . :rolleyes:

Currently, I drive a '97 GTI VR6. It's got a couple of small bolt-on mods like chip, exhaust and K&N panel filter. I don't know any zero to 60 times or anything, but know that it's damn fun to drive.

My mind is already made up to go with a Type IV with my next beetle, but I was wondering how it might compare. I know everyone says it's amazing, but what is that in comparison to?

I don't ever really plan to race, but was wondering what kind of pickup a TypeIV in a beetle has. Would I be looking at more pickup than my GTI? Can I be cruising along at 50 or so and drop the hammer and have it put me in the back of my seat?

I realize it depends on how the motor is built, but was just looking for some general comments.
