Swing axle???
 

Has anyone built tubular spring plate arms for a swing axle beetle... Or even I.R.S

I want to get away from rear torsion bar suspension and go with adjustablew coils, so I have been thinking about making pivot points welded to the torsion housing, and then fab the tubular rear arms... What do you think?
