Soooo close... and yet,
Waiting on a flywheel from Kennedy. Told them I needed it, told them to make it. TWO WEEKS later they call and say "yes we can make it, it will take three to four weeks, do you want it?" W-T-F? What does "I need it/ make it" mean? Its not even a question of cost, I HAVE TO HAVE IT, no choice, they are the only source. I already know they are gonna break it off when they charge me.
There are other odds and ends I'm working on. No where near ready to drive yet.... but I could have it running in a weekend with the rest of my parts. It's really tough to be this close but by the time I do get the parts, it will be ready to drive! |
sometimes you just cant win

I feel ya, I had to call several times to make sure they would make and ship my adapter.....but I finally have it.. if everything goes well I should have the engine in this weekend.....then the real work begins ;)

Thats the problem with these companies that know you CAN'T get it anywhere else.
It makes you wish some competion would come along, I'm sure that would chang there way of thinking. Rob. |
beeen there done that...took them 3 months for mine to arrive. call and check on it weekly if you want results.

Sweet jeebus! After three months I'll be ready to kill something

I had to wait 3 months for my front struts. I caught topline in between the first and second batches. Zen has been held up alot too. The road to a custom car(Bus) is a road full of pot-holes and road-blocks. But when you get it on the road all of that will melt away.

yep. about 6 months for a cup brace that i have had 3 months and haven't gotten on. just one example. i have a few. :bawling:
