Passat rack in 1303...I need help!
 

Could someone give me some advise here please.I am in the middle of fiitting a early Passat rack into my 1303.I am also aware thar there is a few little mods you need to do.The mounting brackets are different,you have to fit weld nuts into the body,the steering shaft[splined] is longer and a diff spline!
this can be machined to a smaller size and run a japanesse universal.I have a problem with the inner ball joints or tie rod ends.I got the rack only and dont have any?These are different to the outter ones as they run a 10mm thread and the tie rod has a little kink in it!!Where can I get these on their own or can someone suggest a replacement...ie thinking about a rod end but is still going to require spacers etc. Your help would be awesome!
