Mechanical servo...

I saw something on this site about a mechanical servo that goes between the pedal and M/C and multiplies the pedal force to some extent. Anybody got any info for me?

I have seen somthing like that in the "brakes" galleries on this site.
Perhaps this would be a good thing to use for 944 brakes and MC?
As i dont like the idea of using a vacume from the engine to feed a servo in the front.

what setup are you using (or going to be)?

Later
Jonathan :)

Ive got stock rear drums and 70 ghia single pin front calipers. I have some 914 ebrake calipers but I don't know what to do with them yet. I want to know how to make the serco and what it looks like

I tried using a 911 master cylinder and I had clearance issues. The steering arm would hit the M/C so I had to cut it apart and off-set it. Real pain in the but. I haven't driven my car with the 944 brakes yet but I didn't have a problem with the "feel" of the stock brakes. If the race GT3 has manual brakes then so shall my car.
