Porsche steering wheel?
 

Hi I'm new here, I have a question. Will a steering wheel off a porsche 928 fit on my 72 superbeetle with out any modifaction? Thanks for any help.

You might need to get a shaft from a 74 or larter to get the right spline but it will drop right in your 72. I had a 74 shaft in mine for a while untill I swapped wheels and went back to the stock shaft.

NoH20 is right you'll just need a steering shaft from a '74 1303. It's a very simple swap.

I test fitted a Momo wheel and hub for my Dad's 85 911 onto my 72 super and guess what? It fit perfectly. Using that logic, his stock steering wheel would fit.

Now, I don't know if any other cars will be compatable, like the 928 wheel in question, but give it a shot before you go and install anything new. You may luck out.
