is that a fiberglas decklid or one of those metal ones you can order in the mags?

That is 100% German steel, its from a 68-70 beetle. One of my friends welded up the holes for the badge and License light. I'm going to go back to the stock lid when I paint it. There was a time when I was leaning toward the cal look but those days are gone brother.
