darren - did you buy the VSM motor?

it was 2007 with 78.4 cast scat crank and 90.5 B+Ps Paul said he could sort out another one and get Laurie Petit to build it. What do you think about cast cranks? From what i've read best to steer clear of them? darren |
cast cranks....comes down to wether your motor is designed to be a low reving torquey one, if this is the case then the cast crank will be OK. If your building a high revving screamer then I think you might be asking too much of a cast crank & worth spending that bit more for a one piece forging :)
