What's up NYBugman?

This is TOW74. I wanted to know What size tires are you using both front and back? The reason why I'm asking , I want to run a 235 45 17 series tire in the rear but I don't know if that's to wide for a 7 inch wheel. I have cup 1's and they are 17x7 all the way around with a 55et. If you can help me out I would appreciate that very much.

a 235/45/17 is recommended for a rim 7.5" to 9" wide.

I run 17x7 and 8.5" wheels with 205-40-17 and 245-45-17 tires. In your case, I'd go with a 225-45-17 in the rear on a 7" wheel.

I agree with Mike, you should run no wider then a 225 on a 7" rim.
I used a 215 on the rear of my car with 7" rims. Looked perfect.
