944 Brake setup and two inch wide fenders
 

Hi, I'm on this site due to my need to know about a conversion of 1302 to 1303 stuts. I will use the 944 brakes on all four wheels. Now since the 944 fronts spindle widen the fronts by 26mm, I need to know if with two inch wide fiberglass fenders will seven inch cookie cutters still fit within the two inch fenders. Also since I can go only three inches for the 1303s struts, can I cut the struts and wield the new spring plate at a lower level than three inches and it will work?
