From Rivieras to Cookies
I just got a set of 15X7 cookie cutters. I currently have 15X5.5 (<--I think) rivieras. I'm not sure what the offset is on the rivieras, but I have no clearance issues on my 71 Super. I'm at stock hight and still running drums up front. I've read that 15X7 cookies have an ET of 23mm. If I go with Ghia discs up front, and lower Via MAXX strut housings, will I have any clearance issues with the cookie cutters? I've also read that a 15X6 cookie cutter is much better suited front the front, since the ET is around 34mm. That sounds more like what I need, from what I've read. Any help is appreciated!!!

the sixes would definitely be suited better for the front of a super...
if the sixes are 34mm then the sevens with a 23mm offset will stick out an extra inch the sevens will work better on the rear and match up even with the sixes on the front (as long as you still have drum brakes in the rear) |
