Dead Battery After every trip..?¿?
 

Hey Guys..
Well as you know I just got my bug on the road.. now time to workout the problems..
have 1 that drives me nutzO..
After Every trip 1mi or 10mi..
My car wont start no sound just a relay click..
a fast jump start & i can drive for 8-10min MAX
then it spudderz & dies on me..
I have not had the sound system on I pulled the fuse..
So I know thats not it..
What would you say I should Start checking first ?¿?

may just need a new battery.

you can charge your current battery and see if it holds a charge.
check your alternator to make sure it is putting power back to the battery. should be 13.8 to 14.6 volts dc(something like that range).

either you have something open in the charging circuit (just had that problem yesterady myself) or your alternator is shot. do you have a volt gauge or alt dummy light? any indications?
