Help deciding on a color...
 

I'm about ready to send my '69 Beetle in for paint within the next month or so, but I'm still undecided on a color. I'm wanting a VW-factory solid color and I'm leaning towards a medium blue (like Dove Blue) or green. Any suggestions or pictures would be appreciated. :confused:

I'd go to a VW dealership with a large inventory and look. The choices for 2003 Passats alone (blue & green only) include Fresco Green, Indigo Blue, Blue Anthracite, Blue Silver, Pacific Blue, and Blue Spirit.

Can't go wrong with those last two either.

Maybe I should be more specific. I'm looking for pre-'70 VW/Porsche factory colors only...

Check VW Capri blue, very cool colour from the 60's :cool:

Im pretty set on going Cliff Green, its supposed to be the same as Apple Green on the GT Beetles. Porsche also had some nice greens as well.

I've noticed that a cream color and a sor of deep blue based "ox blood" red seems to be popular as well...

Hi Guys,
Ive just got the colour for my 1302s bug.
I`ve gone for L 390 Gulf blue.
A greeny/blue.
I`ll post some pics up after I have sprayed her.
