help! installed my new motor in the fall now it's seized

well i installed my new motor last fall and vowed to finish hooking up the wiring in the spring. well i went out to work on it and over the winter it seems the motor has seized.

is there anything thing i can do without having to pull the damn thing and rebuild it now?

thanks in advance guys

Are you sure it's seized ?

Did you try to turn it over with the starter only ? Maybe the starter is bad ?

Not sure how to un-seize it.. Maybe squirt some oil in the cylinders ? If it is a new motor I can't imagine it being seized very tight....

Just my 2 cts..

Rob.

oh it's seized tight alright.

there was no exhaust on it and moisture went in through the open valves and now there's rust around 2 pistons.

i tried even rolling it in 4th and it won't budge

Ouch....

I'm affraid you're gonna have to bite the bullit and pull it (I am a poet and I don't even know it).

I've heard some rumours about "Marvel Mystery Oil". You squirt it into the cylinder and let it marinate for a few days. Then try bumping it.

yeah i've had a few suggest marvel mystrey oil...

but i'm gonna do it right since it's a brand new motor.
i think i'm gonna let the wife tease me while i do it, just to teach myself a lesson about procrastination.
