twin turbo on type iv motor

I've been thinking about adding twins to a type iv motor and was wondering if any one had any comments or concerns about the project. Engine would be a 2.0L with a 911 fan conversion on it running fuel injection.

i have never heard of a type v motor..
i have heard of the type iv though..

i have also read in other posts about twin turbos that it would be really hard to create a manifold for this setup. Since you would have to criss-cross the motor.. you cant just put a turbo on each side of the motor.. the exhaust pulses do not work right.. they need to be in an even manner..

a bugs firing order is
1432143214321432

4 and 3, and 2 and 1 fire right after eachother.. leaving a 'pause' on each side..

thats what i gathered.

"Type V" are waterboxers

The twin turbo conversion shouldnt have any pulse problem, since the turbos are connected in series (one after the other). The only drawback is the complex tubing required and the control valve.

A bi-turbo conversion, would require major tubing fabrication and very careful planning on extractor length, shape (ie routing). Best guess could be to "copy" the 993 bi-turbo setup and make one for a 4 cyl engine...

Another aspect on this kinds of setups that require very good design are the intake manifold (single manifold for both turbos or two for criss-cross and even loads?)
