Hi all I’m an engineering student at Utah state and in my design class we were assigned to build a computer solid model of any product. My team chose to do a sand rail and it’s my job to build the engine. this is where I need a little help I was wondering if any of you have pictures of a type 1 engine with rough dimensions. I have looked through all my manuals and other books as well as several hours of searching the net with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated

There are plenty of books and manuals still available in print that may be more suitable for what you are after regardless if you intend to keep the Type 1 stock or if you intend to customize it.

Thank you oasis, but i'm just after rough outer dimensions. the model we are bulilding is just a cad drawing and i wanted to keep all the proportions between the frame and engine close to correct.
