914 speedo recalibration
 

i have a 914 gauge set in my 69 standard. how do i know what my real speed is? any math formula or way to recalibrate the speedo?

cell phone and buddy with a car was how i did it.

One of those trailer mounted speed monitors that they park on the side of the road and display your speed. Make a couple of passes by one at different speeds and you will know about were you are.
A GPS unit will tell you also.

In Germany there is an company that can recalibrate them (with tiresize, etc. in there mind).

An bicycle-meter works good.

thanks for the info. there is always one of those speed meter things near where i live on the highway. i think i'll make afew passes

North Hoolywood Speedo can Re-Cal one also.
