ZeroAxe's Pumpkin Project (lotsa pics)
Ok, so I too have been bitten by the GL Bug(pardon the pun!). So here is the beginning of my project, starting with stripping the dash from it's foam. I have taken just a few pictures as I went along. It shows the dash how it looked at the begining, during and 'almost finished'. Also what tools worked best for the removal of the offending material :D
Why? You might ask.... well, either I have an interior that smells like a cat has just taken a p!$$ inside my car(yes, that is really what that foam smells like when left wet for a while!). And I believe it would not really get properly dry again. The other thing is that it can only promote rust. But probably the most important thing to me, is that I dont want 'just a standard dash'. I want to make it my own.... So, I was faced with one of two options... Either dump the dash, or ....... Well, you know the rest. So here are some pics. The purists out there should rather not look/reply, frankly, I dont give a damn :p
