FS: wide fenders all 4
 

can't use these since they're for a standard beetle.
got them from my neighbor and i was gonna use the rears for my car but would rather just sell them.
i beleive they are approx. 2.5"-3" wider

they come with the lights and the fronts are halogens

there is a crack in on of the rear fenders but it's very minor

is the price too high?

Where did you get them from? Friend of mine (John) in high school had a set on his yellow bug. $200 seems fair.I guess nobody needs them right now.

Drive your bug much? Haven't seen it around, and i live like 5 min from bigfootcomputers.

i live right behind the old store. i'd love to drive my bug more but i'm having some issues with the new engine.

not sure if it's fuel delivery or what but it will idle it just has no power when driving. even back fires a little.

i was thinking of just takin it down to steve and adrien to look at.

Sounds like it's lean. Check for airleaks around the carb base, the intake manifold. Spray some water around from a spray bottle on the joints. If you hear a change that's your leaky joint.

i tried that with wd-40 with no raise in rpm.

did you check the plugs? I have a similar problem now. I had a plug wire come off and I think it fouled the plug. :rolleyes:

I don't think the fender price is too high, I had to tie myself down to keep from buying them. I'd like to put them on my Daily Driver, along with some widder wheels, but I don't have the extra money. :laugh:

hmm i'm gonna pull the plugs tomorrow after work and also check that the fuel pump pushrod is within spec.

i never measured it when assembling the motor, so i'm wondering if it's just not pumping enough fuel for the higher demands.
